Installation / Mr. Boddington's Studio - National Stationery Show 2011 /

Mr. Boddington, a long time friend, asked me to create a booth for him again this year at the National Stationery Show. This year's booth design was inspired by old post offices from the turn of the 20th century and small English villages across the pond. From hanging signs, a hand painted Mylar window, post-box, and a messenger's bike there are plenty of details to hold one's attention and still leave room for wonder.  All of the booth's pieces are designed and hand crafted by myself and made from paper materials, primarily foam-core. The splendid stationery belongs to the keen eye, wit and charm of Mr. Boddington, ofcourse. And that Cardinal well, he's as free as a bird. Thank you to Rebecca and Jessie for bringing me on the project. It turned out smashingly!
